Kelley’s Gourmet Wins 2nd Gold Medal in World Wide Mustard Competition
Manteno, IL — April 13th , 2016 — A local condiment company has been recognized on the world stage for the 2nd time for its award-winning mustard.
Kelley’s Gourmet (www.greatmustard.com), won the 2016 gold medal in the Worldwide Mustard Competition’s for its Kelley’s Gourmet Stone Ground Mustard. The company won the gold medal in 2013 in the same category.
The World Wide Mustard Competition is an annual contest held at the National Mustard
Museum in Middleton, Wisconsin, home to the world’s largest collection of mustards and mustard memorabilia. The annual contest attracts hundreds of entries from a global roster of name brand competitors. A panel of judges including chefs, food writers, restaurateurs and gourmands conducted blind taste tests of each brand over the course of two weeks at the National Mustard Museum in Madison, Wisconsin before determining the winners.
